I was at the Orphanage for the month of January and it was great to see the children and the staff. We are on summer break and the children have more to do than when they are in school. Robyn and Joel Hanson have done a super job of organizing our entire staff and the volunteers to put on a very comprehensive program. The children have 14 areas they can go to during the day; for instance, they can go to guitar lessons or go to gardening class, to math or hobby classes. I really enjoy seeing the kids so busy and happy.

I was eating my lunch one day and Robyn informed me that Jesus was now living in the Orphanage. Well, I always thought He did through the lives of the staff at the Orphanage. But then Robyn told me that there have been several months that Jesus has not lived at the Orphanage. I asked Robyn “What is going on?” and she explained to me that, practically every day since the Orphanage opened, we have had a child named Jesus [hay sus] in the Orphanage, but several months ago our last Jesus left to go home to his mother and we have not had a Jesus since. Today, I am informing all our supporters that Jesus lives in the Orphanage.

The water project is advancing nicely and we added 300 people to receive fresh agua. We are progressing monthly and my goal is that all 15,000 people will receive fresh water. This project is excellent for churches and other organizations to come and work with the people in installing plastic pipe and make a real difference in their lives.

The staff and the volunteers wanted to do something special for my past wife Vickie and they decided to paint a mural in front of the Orphanage to commemorate her. If you would like to see it, just drop me an email and I will forward a photo to you. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Amen.
