Every three months or so I need to charge up my batteries and visit the orphanage. I recently re-married, and my wife and I arrived in Peru for a visit on February 26. We were besieged with children waiting to greet us. The first question I was asked was, “Are there any moms or dads in the U.S. that want to adopt us?” I told them we have a full time person working on that very thing and her name was Robyn Hanson. As I have reported to you before, Robyn is going to churches all over the country and telling her story and sharing the ministry of the orphanage. She and her husband spent a year volunteering at Hogar de Esperanza. While there, she fell in love with the children and started the process of adopting five siblings from Hogar de Esperanza. Robyn has come on board to help spread the word about our ministry and get others involved. She is very excited about setting speaking engagements anywhere in the country – and I ask you to consider inviting her to speak to your congregation. Please talk to your pastor and contact us.
Summer programs were in full swing throughout February. The volunteers and staff continued teaching, serving, hugging and loving the children. As summer in Peru came to an end, the children celebrated their success in all of the programs by enjoying a day out!

We had many new children leave the streets of Peru and come to live at the orphanage this past month. We are excited to be at full capacity, but I hate to think about the children who are still out on the streets. My heart is passionate to reach out to people in need – the poor, the thirsty and the homeless. Your support of this ministry makes that possible. Thank you.
