We had a wonderful year at Hogar de Esperanza. We started with 17 high school students from the United States visiting the orphanage. We also had two adoptions, and we increased the number of children to 29. Starting in July, we began construction of Rancho de Esperanza. We have finished the major construction and have now started with the furnishings. We are now interviewing men for the directorship of the Rancho and would like to start in early spring.

In 2003, we had our first lady volunteer, Amanda, who stayed a the orphanage for 6 weeks. In 2004, we are praying that more people will be lead to volunteer.

In August of 2003, we had another first. Lighthouse Ministries , a church in Kansas City, came with 7 people from the church to minister to the children. They did a number of important projects that helped the orphanage.

Starting this January, we have 9 dentists coming to the orphanage to do oral surgery and tooth repair. They also are going to teach at a dental school that is close to the orphanage.

We long for your prayer support and may God bless you richly this new year.
