April was a month of completion. We finished the Ranch in April and are beginning to buy furniture, tools, and incidentals. A couple has accepted the directorship of the Rancho. They are planning to come to Trujillo in July to start the boys’ home for street children. They are very excited and ready to go.

Also, in April we experienced our first U.S. adoption. This was a big one for us because it opened the doors for to gain knowledge of the procedures necessary to adopt a child in Peru. The first adoption is always more difficult, but Maria, the adoption mother, has documented the steps necessary for a U.S. adoption. Also, she is willing to talk with any potential parents willing to adopt and share her experiences.

During April we brought in 3 more children and said goodbye to Marcelino, who was adopted. Continue praying for the kids’ health and for parents who are willing to adopt. We are accepting groups that want to come to Trujillo, Peru and do volunteer work.
