Rancho de Esperanza is ready and the touch up painting has been finished. The beds have been bought and the kitchen ware has been purchased. The final permits have been obtained and the employees have been hired. Our new director, Angel Delgado and his wife, have been in Peru for 3 months. They need to leave the country because their visas have run out. To extend their visa for another three months, they have to take a trip to Ecuador and stay for a few hours and then return back to Trujillo, Peru. When they return from Ecuador we are going to start the Ranch (Lord willing).

We started placing some of our older children in private schools because they were so far behind. Juan, who is 13, started school when he was 11, and has only advanced to 4th grade. Most of the older children are behind, and we want to get them started in private schools, but we need additional funding. It takes about 50 dollars a month to place one of our children in private schooling. If you would like to help support with one or two children please send me an email at hogardeesperanza@gmail.com

For Sunday, the children are going to another church in Trujillo. The name of the church is Central Biblico, and it was started by American missionaries, Bert Eliot and his wife Colleen, about 17 years ago. The children are really enjoying the Sunday Services and learning a lot.

Pray that God gives us wisdom in starting the Ranch and that we develop a program that will change the lives of some 12 and 13 year old boys.
